There is a lot of planning that goes into the installation of robots. Here at TriStar, we make sure everything is done right the first time. Shown here are some of the install crew planning what some next steps will be.

The installation was complete in only 4 weeks and milking with VMS (Voluntary Milking System) was ready to begin. The training process took no longer than 2 weeks and 110 cows were being milked.

Here, the installation is not quite complete but you can get a good idea that everything is kept very neat and organized once the install crew is finished. Shown here is a good portion of the automatic washing components.

Shown here are the small vacuum pumps needed to run the robots. Only single cow milking requires a small amount of vacuum. Only high quality equipment is used which keeps things operating smoothly. All equipment is installed neatly and professionally by our second to none install crew.

Here is the instant cooling system required for the VMS. One is a normal pre-cooler to lower the temperature of the milk with water and the other uses glycol to instantly cool the milk to shipping temperature. Also shown is a vertical storage vat used to store the milk while the bulk tank is washing.

Here is the Bicshel Family in front of one of the robots. They are incredibly happy with the installation and the entire staff at TriStar. The cows reacted great with the robots and Peter & Andrea love watching the cows being milked from the view of their new office. TriStar is very proud to have walked side by side Peter & Andrea in every step of this process making it a wonderful experience for everyone.
